Every RCI Starlite™ shell is hand formed from scratch at the now legendary US based RCI bespoke workshop. Shells are constructed from a 'Super Tough' hardened acrylic polymer, engineered by RCI and made in the USA.
The shells are formed, highly polished, balanced, acrylic welded at the seams and then treated to our superior bearing edges. The result is a beautiful resonant Starlite™ shell with “True Continuous Vibration” Copyright © |

The process involved in forming a pattern shell is highly skilled and has been developed over many years. The patterns are in incredibly difficult to produce and RCI are the only acrylic drum company in the world that build drums this way! |
